The Saint-Bernard Express

After a last admiring glance at the Gianadda Foundation, the Roman amphitheatre and the Bâtiaz Tower, the train leaves the Rhone plain and continues its route towards Sembrancher.

It is at this point that the route is divided in two. One train takes the direction of Orsières which is the terminus. Comfortable buses take over and lead the passengers towards various destinations: Champex-lake, the Val Ferret or the Grand-Saint-Bernard hospice, between Switzerland and Italy.

The second train takes the direction of Le Châble, in the valley of Bagnes. The prestigious station of Verbier is situated some 600 meters above, at an altitude of 1500 meters.
